FAREWELL TO REV RACHEL WILSON
had On Sunday 2 September 2018, we said our farewells to Rachel, who had been our Assistant Minister
since January 2016. During a United service In St Boswells Church, we congratulated her on the completion
of her ministry training and presented her with a specially commissioned painting by John Martin.
The 'Come and Sing' Choir sang for Rachel during worship.
It was Rachel's initiative that acquired funding for it from the Church of Scotland Go for it Fund.
Fellowship and a light lunch were enjoyed afterwards in the Church Hall.

ORDINATION AND INDUCTION
Thursday 6th December 2018 - Denholm Church
We hired a bus from our own Charge, to support Rachel's ordination and Induction to her new Charge.
Denholm Church was filled with Rachel's family, friends and colleagues,
who enjoyed an uplifting and moving service.
In true Church of Scotland style, the congregation enjoyed tea and cakes in the village hall.
Rachel was presented with her academic gown and hood in the colours of New College Edinburgh
and entertaining and supporting speeches were enjoyed.
